ACCEPTABLE USE POLICY (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) governs the use of services provided by SKE Cloud Private Limited, having its registered office in Delhi, India (“SKE Cloud”, “Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By using our website https://www.skecloud.com or any Virtual Private Server (VPS), cloud computing, data storage, private chat, collaboration, or related services (“Services”), you agree to comply with this AUP.

Overview

SKE Cloud Private Limited provides cloud infrastructure, data storage, and private communication platforms intended for lawful, ethical, and responsible use by individuals and organizations. This Acceptable Use Policy defines prohibited activities to protect our customers, our network, and the broader internet ecosystem, while ensuring compliance with applicable Indian and international laws. SKE Cloud acts solely as an infrastructure and platform provider and does not control or participate in customer content or communications.

Scope of Services

Our Services may include infrastructure hosting, virtual servers, managed or unmanaged data storage, backup services, and private or organizational chat and collaboration servers. Customers retain full control over their data, applications, communications, and user access within their environments.

Purpose

This AUP is intended to ensure lawful and responsible use of our Services, protect network integrity, and comply with applicable laws. Violation of this AUP may result in immediate suspension or termination of Services.

Prohibited Activities

You must not use SKE Cloud Services for any unlawful, harmful, or abusive activity, including but not limited to the following.

Illegal Content and Activities

Prohibited activities include any activity unlawful under Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000; terrorism-related content or communications; child sexual abuse material (CSAM); human trafficking or exploitation; copyright infringement or piracy; and content related to illegal drugs, weapons, or controlled substances.

Misuse of Data Storage Services

Customers must not use SKE Cloud data storage services to store, process, transmit, or distribute illegal, infringing, or harmful content. This includes but is not limited to stolen data, unlawfully obtained personal or confidential information, malware, or content whose possession or distribution is prohibited by law.

Private Chat and Communication Services

Private chat, messaging, or collaboration servers provided by SKE Cloud are intended for legitimate internal, professional, or organizational communication. Customers must not use such services to facilitate illegal activities, harassment, threats, extremism, fraud, or coordinated criminal conduct.

SKE Cloud does not monitor, moderate, or access private communications and does not assume responsibility for the content of messages exchanged by users. Responsibility for all communications rests solely with the customer and its users, subject to applicable law.

Cybercrime and Network Abuse

Prohibited activities include hacking, unauthorized access, hosting or distributing malware or botnets, phishing or scam operations, distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, and abuse of network resources that degrades service quality or security.

Spam and Messaging Abuse

Sending bulk unsolicited communications, operating open mail relays or proxies, or engaging in SMS, voice, or messaging-based fraud, including fake call center operations, is strictly prohibited.

Privacy and Data Protection Violations

Unauthorized surveillance, interception of communications without legal authority, or misuse, sale, or disclosure of personal or sensitive data in violation of applicable data protection laws is prohibited.

Circumvention of Law Enforcement

Using Services to evade lawful investigations, conceal identity for illegal purposes, or representing Services as “bulletproof”, “no-log”, or “law-enforcement-proof” for unlawful use is prohibited.

Monitoring and Enforcement

SKE Cloud does not actively monitor customer data, stored content, or private communications. However, upon receiving a lawful court order, government directive, CERT-In notice, or credible abuse report, SKE Cloud may investigate, suspend, isolate, or terminate affected Services to ensure compliance with the law.

Reporting Abuse

Abuse or policy violations may be reported to abuse@skecloud.com. Reports should include the relevant IP address, service details, date and time with timezone, and supporting evidence where available.

Cooperation with Authorities

SKE Cloud cooperates with Indian law enforcement agencies, CERT-In, and other authorized authorities upon receipt of valid legal orders or lawful requests, in accordance with applicable laws.

Reservation of Rights

Failure to enforce this AUP at any time does not constitute a waiver of SKE Cloud’s right to enforce it in the future.
